Knoxville, TN News – A man was injured after a shooting outside a bar Wednesday night, October 16, 2024.
As reported by WBIR.com, “[t]he Knoxville Police Department said it’s investigating a shooting and robbery at a West Knoxville bar. Officers responded to BucketHead Tavern on Ray Mears Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.”
WATE.com is reporting, “[officers] found the victim, a 61-year-old man from Florida, had been shot multiple times in the parking lot. He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.” The news outlet confirms the the incident occurred in the “BucketHead Tavern …parking lot.”
According to the report, “detectives on the scene learned that the victim had exited the bar and was confronted at gunpoint in the parking lot by at least two currently unidentified suspects. The victim was shot, and the suspects left the scene in the victim’s car.”
The investigation is ongoing.
