Texarkana, AR NEWS – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024, leaving one teen dead.

As reported by KSLA.com, “just after 1 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 22), a 911 call was made from the River Run Apartments on East 35th Street. Witnesses reportedly told police they heard multiple gunshots in the complex.”

Fox16.com is reporting, “[o]fficers arrived on the scene and located a male juvenile victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately aided the victim until LifeNet arrived to take over life-saving measures.”

According to the report, “EMS then transported the victim to a local hospital. Once at the hospital, medical staff continued life-saving measures, but the victim died from his injuries.”
