NASHVILLE, TN NEWS – Gunfire rang out at a Nashville, TN apartment complex early Sunday morning, September 1, 2024, leaving one man dead.

As reported by Fox17.com, “[a] deadly shooting took place at the Mosaic Apartments, 1019 Patricia Drive, just after midnight Sunday.”

Nashville.gov is reporting, “[t]he victim’s friend reported that they were hanging outside his apartment when they were approached by four suspects, described as black men. They demanded their belongings. When the victim fought back, one of the suspects shot him in the stomach. They then shoved the second victim to the ground, threatening to kill him if he moved. They took his wallet, passport, Guatemalan ID, and cash. The suspects fled on foot.”

According to the report, “[t]he shooting victim was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.”
