Bluefield, WV News – A man was injured after a shooting at a Bluefield, WV bar early Saturday morning, September 14, 2024.

As reported by WCHStv.com, “deputies and the Bluefield police responded to reports of a 37-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds at the West Virginia University Emergency Room in the area. The authorities learned that a shooting took place at Jay Jay’s Bar on the 1100 block of Coal Heritage Road around 3:30 a.m.”

WVVA.com is reporting, “[t]he victim is a 37-year-old male. At the time of a press release from Mercer County Sheriff’s Department at 7:39 a.m. the male is in critical condition and being treated.”

The investigation is ongoing.
