CHARLOTTE, NC NEWS

Three people were injured after a shooting at a Charlotte, NC shopping center Sunday night, August 18, 2024.

As reported by WSOCtv.com, “[t]hree people were shot Sunday night in the parking lot of the Blakeney shopping center in Ballantyne, Charlotte Mecklenburg police confirmed. Witnesses said teens were the shooting victims.”

Yahoo.com is reporting, “[o]ne of the victims was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and the other two suffered non-life-threatening injuries.”

The investigation is ongoing.
