21-year-old Detavious Turner was reportedly shot and killed outside of the JacRy Apartments Sunday evening, November 20, 2016.
According to The Dallas Morning News, gunfire erupted “in the parking lot of the JacRy Apartments in the 3800 block of Bonnie View Road, near East Illinois Avenue in east Oak Cliff.” Mr. Turner was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to fatal injuries.
The complex was apparently the subject of a “stabbing” investigation in September, per The Dallas Morning News reports.
