One person is dead and one other was injured after a shooting at an Erie, PA nightclub late Friday night, Dec 30, 2022.
As reported by YourErie.com, “Erie Police are investigating…a shooting at a private party at the Metroplex nightclub on Buffalo Road around 11:50 p.m. on Friday. That shooting left one man injured and another dead.”
GoErie.com is reporting, “the deceased male, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead Friday at 11:58 p.m. at Saint Vincent Hospital, where he was taken by private vehicle following the shooting. The person who was wounded, a 38-year-old man whose name was not released, was taken by private vehicle to UPMC Hamot for treatment after he was shot in the arm.” The news outlet confirms that “[t]he shooting happened at the Metroplex” and that the “shooting…occurred during a fight that broke out inside [the] nightclub.”
The investigation is ongoing.
