One man is dead and a woman was injured after a shooting at a Fort Collins, CO parking lot early Sunday morning, August 11, 2024.

As reported by KDVR.com, “Fort Collins Police Services said officers responded to the 200 block of Remington Street around 1 a.m. for a reported shooting. Officers found two victims had been shot after a dispute between two groups in the parking lot.”

Denver7.com is reporting, “[w]hen officers arrived on the scene, they located a man with critical injuries, and paramedics rushed him to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. His identity has not been released. A woman was also wounded in the shooting and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said she is expected to survive.”

The investigation is ongoing.
