North Attleborough, MA News – A man was injured after a shooting at a hotel Monday night, October 21, 2024.

As reported by WPRI.com, “officers were called to the Hampton Inn & Suites after a 911 caller reported that a person had been shot.”

NBCBoston.com is reporting, “North Attleborough police first responded to the hotel after receiving a 911 call about a person shot at that location, and arrived to find a man who had sustained a gunshot wound to the face while in the lobby of the hotel.”

According to Boston.com, “[t]he man suffered from a nonlife-threatening injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The DA’s office said an initial investigation showed the victim was not the intended target.”

The investigation is ongoing.
