Gunfire rang out at a Shively, KY nightclub early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020, leaving one man dead and one woman injured.
As reported by WLKY.com, “Shively police were called to X-Clusive nightclub in the 3600 block of Seventh Street Road just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.”
According to the report, “[w]hen [officers] arrived, they found a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to the neck and a woman in her 30s who had been shot in the wrist. Both were taken to University Hospital, where the man died. Police said the woman is expected to fully recover.”
Per the report, “it appears a fight took place inside the club and all patrons were removed. Then, two parties furthered their contact in the parking lot, where the shooting occurred.”
The investigation is ongoing.
