Gunfire erupted early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024 at a San Diego, CA apartment complex leaving one man fatally injured.
As reported by NBCSanDiego.com, “[p]olice received a call just before 2:30 a.m. about the shooting near 36th Street and Polk Avenue. Once police arrived on the scene, they found a man inside an apartment courtyard who had been shot.”
10News.com is reporting, “SDPD says its initial investigation shows the victim was standing in the courtyard before the gunman approached from the alley and shot him in what appeared to be an unprovoked attack. The victim was transported to an area hospital but later died from his injuries.”
The shooting investigation is ongoing.
