Multiple people were injured after a shooting at a Houma, LA bar early Sunday morning, June 30, 2024.

As reported by WDSU.com, “[the shooting] happened early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Thirsty’s Bar on Barataria Boulevard. Investigators say multiple people fired multiple shots following a fight, which began inside the bar.”

WWLTV.com is reporting, “[a]s officers investigated the shooting, they learned that a 49-year-old male victim was struck in the leg while outside of the Courtyard Marriott by a stray bullet. Later, police were informed by medical staff at the hospital that a second 26-year-old male victim had also arrived at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. A third gunshot victim, a 24-year-old man also arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds.”

The investigation is ongoing.
